KAPCHORWA, UGANDA – The political temperature in Kapchorwa Municipality has risen after a conspicuous absence by aspiring Member of Parliament, Satya Alfred Muban, during Elgon Radio’s popular Saturday Hot Seat debate. Muban, one of the declared aspirants for the 2026 parliamentary race, cited taking his children to school as the reason for missing the live on-air debate – a reason that has drawn widespread criticism and sparked questions about his readiness to lead.
