Tense Scenes as Voters Flock Bukwo Town Council for Today’s Election


 Hundreds of residents gathered early today at the Bukwo Town Council offices to take part in the eagerly awaited local elections. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as voters, candidates, and observers lined up outside the council gates under tight security.


Posters bearing campaign slogans, such as "Charicha Kwekos Rindex were visible as supporters chanted and engaged in discussions while waiting for the gates to open. The Uganda national flag could be seen flying over the town council building, indicating official government presence.


Eyewitnesses reported peaceful but intense interest in the outcome, as today's vote is expected to determine key local leadership positions. Motorcycles and bicycles dotted the area, pointing to the mobilization of voters from even the most remote parts of the district.
